In keeping with the series by Lauren Kate, here is my review of Book 2 in the Fallen series entitled Torment.
Plot: Now Luce knows she loved Daniel in previous lives. With this knowledge comes danger. Luce is being hunted by Outcasts– immortals.
Daniel hides Luce within the walls of Shoreline, a school for Nephilium (the children of fallen angels and humans).
At Shoreline, Luce is learning how to use the shadows to look into her past lives, but the more she peeks into the past, the more she feels that Daniel isn't telling her everything about their love story. What if she was meant for another?
Again, this is a fantastic sequel to Fallen. The characters draw you in and hold you captive while you live their story of love, loss, and vengeance. If you enjoyed Fallen, you'll love Torment.
***WARNING*** This book has lot of LOOSE References to the Bible. You have to keep in mind that it's fiction and holds no truth to actual Biblical events.
